anything that comes silver on my car will be painted black.with that emblem ,the body of it will be black and the outer edge will be IOM .Even the silver trim around the tail lights will be painted black,along with the wheels .

I like the idea of having the older "Blue" bow tie put on or even just using a reflective Blue decal to cover up the Gold, however, I have thought about making it represent the country I love !

to answer the topic of this thread i would have to go with blue. personally i like black. does anybody know if you can get different color bow-ties at the parts store?

I will be changing mine to blue. I have a brand new blue bow tie grille emblem for a 1969 Camaro that looks like it will fit. They accidentally sent it when I ordered one for my Chevelle and did not ask for it back.

About any color Bow tie they have put on Chevys are available through many aftermarlket suppliers, You will just need to find one that fits.
To tell the truth the only 3 colors I can remember from the factory are Blue, Red and Gold.
There are some decal places on E-Bay that makes overlay decals of any color you may want even Carbon fiber, I am sure they will be fairly quick with Camaro overlays.

I wish they would bring back the blue. I assume they went to gold because gold is a more neutral color. Maybe they could use blue for high performance Chevy models.
