Don't forget that unless you can do some exhaust work yourself the cutouts will require some labor costs.
Did they throw a code after installation and or did you have to get a tune for your car after installation? Thanks for the info.Want the sound but not the hassle of tuning and losing my warranty on the exhaust system.

I didn't get any codes since the factory cats are O2 sensors are still there. Also, I am running the factory cat-back which is great for stealth mode when it's needed. No tune is needed even when it's opened up when using the factory manifolds and cats. I'm not sure what applies if you have headers and/or high flow cats.

They are DEFINITELY better than the QTP cutouts. Like others said, they completely close off your stock exhaust. Regular cutouts simply allow some gas to pass through the cutout while the rest of it shoots out the back like normal.

Neither system will provide any power increase or decrease on YOUR car. BUT if you ever go with forced induction (supercharger or turbos) there IS a difference. I have a twin turbo in my Camaro and it made almost 35rwhp more with the diverters open vs. closed. I have a stock exhaust after the turbos and noweeds.

Noweeds.net also SOUNDS way better (imo) and different (fact) than the QTP cutouts. I have heard them both in person. The difference alone warrants the extra $$. Also, the fact that Steve from Noweeds stands behind their products and offers GREAT support if you ever need it is a big selling point. I believe they have a warranty.

On top of that, they're built better. I have 23k miles on my noweeds diverters and haven't had a single issue with them. I drive my car year round including Michigan winters. My friend who had QTP cutouts is already on his third set!!! They were warrantied, but c'mon... what a pain in the butt.
