Fix the camry ...... you don't want to put Jade in any life threatening situations with these unpredictable Missouri winters.

Fix the camry. If I had the option of driving a different car in shitty weather I would drive the other car.

You can put on the best winter tires man makes and take every other precaution to be safe in winter driving - but these precautions mean nothing if someone else hits you.

Lets be honest, you may be prepared to drive in snow and have great tires but you CANNOT prevent some jackhole from hitting you.

If someone bangs up your camry this winter, meh, your beautiful camaro will be safe at home ready to drive when the snow clears. And you'll be thinking "man that could have been my camaro!"

Camaro's with the proper tires are just fine. In fact, better than most cars these days.

With traction control and driving the car PROPERLY in the snow, the Camaro does just fine.

The problem isn't the Camaro, in my opinion...it's the other idiots on the road who can't drive in snow. I have my Impala, and will be using that because more often than not, I get rear ended by some idiot following too close, driving too fast or doing stupid things in the snow.

It's the STUPID drivers that are the problem, and I hate to say it but that includes people here on these boards, I suspect. Driving in the snow is riskier in ANY car, and too many people drive like they stole it in the snow rather than taking it easy. That's what leads to accidents in the snow, not the car itself.

I've driven all my sports cars in snow. Be careful take your time and remember tslow on everything when the snow is bad. I have had no issues at all. Most of those cars were way before traction contra, and stability control.

Get real snow tires and you'll be just fine. I drove my SS in the snow/ice and had zero issues (w/ snow tires). But I would still fix the camry, because as others said, the Camaro does fine in snow but the other drivers don't.

Fix the beater. No matter how good a set of ice radials you have and how careful you are, it's still out of your hands every time you get on the open roads. Especially with this year's El Nina winter predictions. Don't leave things to chance.
