I love the black stripes on my VR. I had gloss black custom made in the factory design. I wasn't a big fan of the matte finish of the factory stripes. I think black stripes look more sinister.

Me too! I wanted my Camaro to be a little different. They are in vinyl, but I intend to have them painted on soon.

Well My VR LS has white stripes on it. Makes the car very flashy. You also get unnessicary cop attention. When I was on RnR I pulled off the interstate. there was a cop coming so I waited for him to pass then pulled out. While driving back home I look in the review mirror to see the same cop speeding to catch up to me. He followed me all the way back home before he finally left me alone.

I was looking at white stripes. There is another member on here...(caverman) that has the best looking stripe package I have seen.

Would have liked black but not flat black they are gone if you get any wax
on them Would have gotten gloss black if they had them

a few shots of mine from barber this past weekend. the one overhead pic i got off the net somewhere. i looked at the white stripes but they werent for me. if i hadnt gotten this combo, my next choice woulda been the gray with black stripes.

I did black till next year when i can get my Grey stripes painted on.

At first I was torn between Gloss Black or Gloss White but I knew I didn't like the looks of the factory stripes. They were too narrow for my liking.

Once I saw the white I knew I wanted to give that a try. I did mine in vinyl just in case I wanted to change them down the road.

Now that I've had white I can say the I would absolutely do Gloss White. I get compliments all the time so I know it's not just me. Now that I know white is the way to go I'm looking at putting some money aside to have them painted on one day.

If you are not sure on the color my suggestion is to definatley get them done in vinyl. That way you can remove them if you want.
