Theyre still showing off the Ambient lighting, i would not pay for the price for wheels that wont truly be unique, i rather go aftermarket and make my car as unique as possible while still keeping it a true camaro

The stoplamp will be similar to the concept, except with the dovetail, i think it might look really nice
or might not...

Too bad they want $400 for the dovetail, lol. No thanks at that price. I'm sure the aftermarket will have a better one for 1/2 that price. Even if it's already body color matched (which it prob won't be judging by the GFX kit) that's still way too high.

I hear ya........at present, SLP is offering their LTs with high-flow cats for the G8 for $1300. They only add 28HP.

Personally, I was hoping to get the shorties, the air intake, catback kit and the insert grille along with the car cover, engine cover and hurst short throw already on my order, but I think those may have to wait. That's another $2500+ and then labor..........

I'd like to keep the car ALL GM as far as the accessories go. Maybe our dealers will work a deal if we decide to get all of it at one time.

I'm just guessing here, but I think the height of it will make it impossible to see the stop lamp located in the package tray.

i dont know... is a grand really too much for a pair of stainless headers?

i mean, slp is selling a pair of stainless shorties for gmc trucks for 700...

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

and those are 409 grade, the ones coming on the camaro are 439 (a bit better).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stainle...s_steel_grades

so i can't really see how you guys are thinking that high grade stainless headers for a sports car are gonna be cheap... they might be a bit over priced (maybe 200 bucks or so) but your keeping your warrenty with them.

*shrug*

Here's some of the prices we haven't seen yet for the GMPP Accessories.

92212302 V8 Air Intake $450.00
92213295 SS Shorty Headers $1,000.00
92206992 V8 Catback Exhaust $850.00
92208704 Heritage Grille Insert $275.00

http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/se...o_sitelet.html
I'm figuring the V6 Air Intake should be about the same at $ 450.00 US or $520 CAN
and the Heritage Grille Insert should also be the same $ 275 US or $315 CAN
The V6 Catback should be cheeper I would imagine, however, I've been wrong before!

As it is, the Air intake and Heritage Grille are the 2 I'm picking. The engine cover, I'm having the dealer paint when they also do my Dovetail and front diffuser. Engine cover in Aqua Blue... Should look sweet!

I agree. I don't think they are too bad really. It's high, but it's not like you have to have them. It would be nice if you could just get it off the truck with all the stuff installed. It would be cheaper that way.

But, we have to keep in mind that this is a way GM is getting dealers involved and allowing them to make something more on the sale. They make some profit and get labor.
