CGM stripes, I thought that black would stand out to much. and the biggest factor is the FACTORY does the CGM stripes... Dealer does the black.

SIM with CG stripes. A sweet look. Not too much contrast but just a little.

I felt the same way. Once I heard they stopped at the hood and didn't extend down I was turned off and decided to go w/o.

+1

I like a clean look!

A vote for understatement. No stripes, spoilers, wings, or fancy wheels needed...OK I did break down for a Hurst shifter and a spare tire. Save your $ for a CAI.

Why didn't I think of that! Since the dealer would be putting on the black stripes anyway, they could probably do it at any time. Then I'd be able to get a look at some "live" cars to see if I really like it or not.

Hmmmm - I think I am going to cancel the Rally stripe package from my order... (Besides, the car looks incredible without the stripes, too)

Yes, the LPO orange stripe package (VYO) is available with the SIM body color. And the interior Inferno Orange Trim Package (W1H) is also available with exterior color SIM, but only on the 2LT and 2SS trim lines.

I got the cyber gray stripes on black so they wouldn't jump out at you too much, like getting them on the SIM instead of the higher contrasting black stripes. And the fact that they're factory installed didn't hurt either.

Finally, thank you. I was under the impression that the factory was only installing cyber gray and white stripes at the factory. All other colors at dealer.

Ordered SIM, RS/2SS with black leather interior and cyber gray stripes. I originally ordered without stripes, but after comparing with and without (pics), I decided that I liked it a bit more with the stripes. Where I ordered mine, they dont do dealer striping, so had to have it done at the factory. I thought that the cyber gray stripping looked good with SIM.

That's correct. Only cyber gray and white stripes are RPO - factory installed. The others are LPO - dealer installed. The orange stripes will be installed by the dealer.

I went to my dealership this morning and deleted the black rally stripes from my order. I really do like the clean look of the SIM and if I REALLY want stripes, I'll add them later.

At first, my salesman said, "Let me see if we can do that, because we submitted the order already, so I'm not sure if we can change it." So I countered with, "uh, production isn't starting for another two months AND these were to be dealer installed stripes, so I'm pretty sure we'll be able to delete them." Sure enough, he was .
