I think the total cost ran about $200.00 for bezels, harness and fog light assembly. REMEMBER, if you wire 'em to the side marker lights, they only come on at night or when you turn on the parking lights. You could add a switch and relay if you wanted, but that's way more involved...

I have not seen the wiring harness from GM, so is it just two wires with plugs on both ends and you just cut off the one plug and splice that into the side marker lights?

Did you have to order two harness?

Are the Hot and Ground wires different colors on the side marker lights?

Thanks!

Right, for the harness, there's a separate socket that you won't need. Just get some connectors from Autozone or Home Depot. Solder those to your leads and connect them. That way if you need to disconnect, you won't have to cut and splice...

order just ONE Harness, that's all you need. I can't remember if the wire colors are different, I think the ground leads on both are black though. I remember it was obvious though....

Bezels are only $9.55/each at Rock Auto.

Buy fog lights for 2007-2011 Tahoe from ebay - same part number as Camaro but people charge less since they don't know they work on the Camaro - $68/pair.

On the LS only, doesn't the side marker blink with the turn signal? So taping into those will make the fogs blink too, right?

Anyone know the correct pigtail that can be used with the fog lights? I think it's Dorman 85855 but I can't be sure by the pics. I would rather have a waterproof pigtail plug and wire into the existing parking lights than a direct hardwire.

Here is an AC Delco pigtail that will work AC/DELCO PT2390, this fits the 5205 fog light bulb. It is about $30 per plug, why so much?

I see Dorman 85855 can be had for $7.50 each, not sure if it will fit???

I am planning on retrofitting my 1LS headlights, painting them matte black and adding halos to get the RS style look. I'll have 5000K bulbs (I think: whichever is white) in the headlights. I'd also like to do fog lights, but I want it to match. What would the best route for me to take? Thanks.

The dorman 85855 pigtails will not fit the 5202 bulb
Why does a pigtail cost $30 each for these bulbs?

Sorry.

Is there any way you could post links/part numbers to the bezels and fog lights that you got?

Is this a good deal? I need mine to end up matching some 5000K headlights.

To help people out who want to do this, I found some part numbers.

Bezels: 92218024, 92218023
Fog light housing: 92231388

Looks like http://rockauto.com has the best price for these.
