Huh....funny....I've got long tubes and my drivetrain warranty hasn't be voided.

Not to say it can't be down the road but just putting on LTs doesn't automatically void your warranty.

Would like to add that I have over 5500 miles with the extensions, no lights no problems.

I did recently get a tune due to a cam ugrade and my tuner left the rear ones on. We're curious to see if they come on.

How about using a wire extension on the aft sensors like the front? Will that help?

If you are speaking of wire extensions, no, the stock harness reaches the rear O2 sensors just fine with either Kooks or OBX longtubes.

2500 miles and counting. No CEL.

That won't do anything. You need to run 2" long sparkplug antifouler style O2 extenders (not extensions).

I think if you do not have the 2" long sparkplug antifouler style O2 extenders then you need the harness extension. I needed them for mine with OBX. But the 2" extenders pull the sensor out of the exhaust stream to keep you from have a cel light with no tune. For anyone that wants to learn more about this, do some research in google then make a decision.

So I guess one of you needed wire extenders and the other needed antifouler extenders so being that I am going to use the same headers OBX I will use both types of extenders. By the way how do you like the OBX and who's cats work with them?

Nope, my rear O2 harness reached with or without the 2" long extenders. I did have to buy wire extensions for the front sensors though.

Kooks cats work with OBX longtubes. However, if you run the 2" extenders on the rear sensors, you can run the straight pipes that come with the headers without a CEL.

Hicompression, your right on the extensions and the sparkplug antifouler, absolutely worth the try. I found this link in doing it yourself and total cost...about $10.00 because we have two cats insted of one. I know what I am going to do when I get a little time this weekend......

I think you'll be impressed with the results.

Don't double stack the short spark plug antifoulers. Get the 2" antifoulers here:

I forgot to mention that I did this for my buddy's 08 Mustang, this month will make it one year. With no issues.

I bought some inexpensive 90 degree O2 socket extenders for the rear sensors and they do not work. CEL comes on within 10 miles of driving.

Other than CEL, car runs fine.
