Nowhere near 50hp. I said it should get around 30 with full exhaust, not that it will. Expecting anymore than 7hp from the CAI is getting your hopes up. Plus as mentioned earlier, shorty headers aren't nearly as good as LT's. 35hp is the max I would expect from all three.

That is with D3 products, not GMPP.

Yup...But they'll last forever. I don't know the actual number but it won't be much.

your point? and who ever thinks that your warranty automatically goes away when you install after market parts is wrong.

you might see 40hp. might

the thing to keep in mind is that if you add all 3, they will complement each other. and more often than not, when exhaust/cai companies test their products, they'll test a CAI on a motor with full exhaust and compare their numbers against a fully stock motor. same with the exhaust, they'll slap on a CAI and the full exhaust and say that just the exhaust is getting you that much more power.

now, you can also throw in a dyno tune and square everything away and get that last little bit of power out of the motor.

My point is that while GMPP products are good, they are also normally conservative and their are many better aftermarket pieces. Your warranty will automatically go away on everything tied to the operation of the factory part you replaced with an aftermarket part.

Now let rain all the Magnuson Moss quotes blah blah blah...

i figure they probably are just a guestimate, just i thought the dealer-installed items you order with the car include installation costs. like the Hurst shifter is $380 & that includes putting it on. if that's the way it is, $4000 would be way too much to spend on CAI & exhaust

no it wont im a dealer trust me. their are laws that state the dealer must prove that infact the after market part you have installed is causing the problem you are trying to get fixed under warranty.
