this car was meant to mod. One of the best stock platforms out there for aftermarket modifications and there a lot of great vendors here to assist you. Wether its an auto or manual, black, yellow or whatever color, this car is awsome!

What he said. If you have the scratch, get the 2SS/RS auto or manual, you can't go wrong. I picked the auto and it is unbelievable. Just put my snow tires on yesterday so I can enjoy it every day.

Keep in mind that you are moving from a 335i to a camaro. The driving experiences of the two are very different and its quite possible moving from a bimmer to a Chevy may not be something you're used to. I say test drive one.

Yeah, the Camaro is much more fun! The BMW is refined and the dash is soft enough to sleep on, but you'll love revving the Camaro engine much more than the BMW, which sounds nice, but it's no V8!

I am not sure if the 1SS comes with a leather wrapped steering wheel, but I think you get it with the 2LT, 2SS and 1LT with the convenience and connectivity package for sure. The regular steering wheel is horrible to hold because it is "over" textured. But maybe that'll go away after a few years. The rental I had recently had 15k miles so if the roughness is going to go away, it'll take a long time.

After a 335 you should go 2SS....at least get some of the features of the BMW! 1SS may be too few options for you .

I love my 2SS Auto- having an auto for being lazy yet being able to play with the paddles is a great thing for me. I'm just sad that I might have to see mine go away, but that's a whole different story.
