If so, I'll need to rethink my math in a previous thread as they'd be building double the cars I had thought of (assuming a 50/50 ratio as has been stated).
Well considering the V6 is not new and used in other models and the engine factory was running before the shutdown, I'm sure they have more than enough V6 engines to ship to the factory on time to get that first 2500-3000 V6 dealer cars out.

What about hoods, transmissions, etc? If they've planned the whole supply chain around 50/50, I would think that would cause issues with doing 100/0 at first. But then again, since they'll be going slow at first, the supply chain could keep up? And maybe they've told all the v8 suppliers that they won't be needed til a month later?

Well the hood is the same, its the nose thats different, and I believe the transmission is the same as used with the other cars that use this engine. I think engines and transmissions would be the most likely things to hold things up since they are the most complex.

That said, as well now the suppliers have a 2 month lead time from now instead of 1 month to have these parts in the pipeline ready to go, this delay could be partially caused by this plan of making thousands of dealer stock V6 cars.

EXCELLENT as always, Scotty!

No offence to anyone, but why the big need to know the exact delivery day, some would like to know the hour and minute also. I don't see the need.

Not really my place to say anything, but perhaps we should all let cooler heads prevail and keep the "ass clown" comments to a minimum? The guys at EVS care just as much about the Camaro as all of us. Do I think they kinda freaked out and possibly misinterpreted the video? Perhaps. Per the comments from Scott, I'm not really concerned.

Either way, beating on a dead horse is just adding fuel to the fire, and frankly I prefer Camaro5 without all of the melodrama, bickering, and rampant misinterpretations from the guys who's mother's best friend in high school's son's coworker's aunt lives next door to a guy who's brother used to work at GM 20 years ago and heard that the _________ is happening.

Misinterpreted or not, the EVS guys intentions were good. Cut them a little slack...

Am curious about the MSRP question however...
