My wife absolutely love this exhaust. There is no drone and sounds really good under throttle.

I wonder how it would have sounded if you had kept the OBX straight pipes and just hooked up the Kooks muffler system from the straight pipes back.

They fit perfectly. The exhaust was kind of a pain because they came with Zero instructions. I had never put exhaust on before so it was a little frustrating. Note to anyone else gonna try this and have never done it before, start at the back and work your way forward.

Once I got it right it went very quick and everything is great.

The car sounds amazing.

I will post video and pics tomorrow in the daylight.

Thanks to Brandon at Marylandspeed for taking care of me and hooking me up with the sweet price.
When you switched over to the cats and the rest did you notice any difference in performance over the straights?

Yes there was alot more drag on the engine until just a little bit ago. I think the exhaust just started waking up this evening on my way home they got alot louder all of a sudden

My headers won't matter when I go twin turbo anyway. That is what I have been planning since the day I drove my car off the lot. Spend a grand on a set of headers for a years worth of use is just plain stupid.

car sounds mean man. i would have kept the straight pipes myself, but unlike you i don't have a to worry about keeping a wife happy lololol. i still love the sound though.

i haven't pulled the trigger yet on a set of long tubes. I've narrowed my choices down to the OBX or the set up that oversteering is selling on the vendor section.

Hey camarocowboy your car sounds really good! I've been shopping around looking for a good exhaust set up and that's the sound I'm looking for. I've listened to soo many systems but that one just has that "solid" sound to it.

I would much appreciate your review on the Kook's muffs regarding any drone at higher speeds. Your exhaust sounds very nice and gives me the impression there would be no drone in 6th gear, but I can't tell for sure... I like the deep tone you got with these mufflers. I'm just not a big fan of the Corsa sound, but may have to go this route if I can't find a better option once I decide to get HF cats or LT headers.

I want to free up my exhaust, but I'm too old to listen to drone on the freeway. Plus my wife won't ride with me if I screw this up!...lol.
