It seems like a cool idea but I dont want people doing what Clarkson did to Hammonds' Challenger when they went to the diner. Since Hammond was relatively close to the car in the diner he was able to get in, start it up and drive away only to let it stall in the street 20 feet away lol. In some cases a thief can have a tow truck or something and drive it right onto it.

If you look at the steering column, beside the ignition is what looks like a perfect place to add a push button. Its the oval flat area on the dash. Theres nothing there right now and seems like an awkward place to have that area with nothing in it.

If its so great why are all the corvette owners complaining about their batteries going dead if they don't use the car for a few weeks?
I'd rather have to turn the key in my car than put a battery charger on it everytime I leave the car sit in the garage for two or three weeks, and then have to remove it to drive the car again.
Be careful what you wish for...cause if you get it you might not like it. And problems like this have never been on the top of my wish list.

Remote start available on the Automatic models only. Push start on the keyfob, not a button on the dash...

Search out remote start here. 2LT and 2SS (*auto trannys only) come with remote start. I have read a 1SS (auto) can get it by adding SRJ (C&C pkg) but can't confirm that.

I have a concern about push button start

What happens if you flood your engine, it will be kinda hard trying to start with a button right
