I heard that there putting a v16 engine in there, and fuel economy is 315 miles to gallon, i heard it was comming out in 2011 named the ZL1...........\i miss speculating....
Atleast we now know that our camaro is almost in our driveways, just a few short monthes away, we know everything we want, we have our dream cars ordered, and we'll be burning rubber as soon as we get them (after break-in of course)

With my late find of Camaro5, the excitement, at least at first, was thinking of new questions about the car and the finding the answers here. I think I literally spent weeks just catching up. Now it seems many are not so willing to search out the answers and so we have thread after thread of the same old questions over and over. Boring and....

I WOULD SAY WE HAD MORE ANTICIPATION AND EXCITEMENT BUT ONCE THOSE CAMAROS START GETTING INTO THE HANDS OF THE PUBLIC I EXPECT TO SEE SEVERAL PICS, STORIES, MODIFICATIONS AND SO ON THAT SHOULD LAST WELL INTO 2009. ONCE THAT SETTLES WE CAN START TALKING IMPROVEMENTS AND OTHER CHANGES FOR FUTURE CAMAROS.

I agree. I only read about 1 of every 25 posts, because most are the same old stuff... someone not caring to research to find an answer about pricing, motors, options etc... or someone bitching to GM about something they don't like.

I agree with Classic,

Once Motortrend gets their grubby hands on the camaro, we'll be back to fun..

Its the home stretch guys. Less then 3 months and some of us will have the best sports car on the road.

Back then we pretty much let our imaginations run off because we had no hard data and facts. Now it is getting more serious. Some people are mad, others happy, and the rest are talking about mods. Once we all start getting all of our cars, the site will become fun again.

I have been coming to this site everyday since early spring 08.I believe it was alittle more fun back even a few months back.I was a silent member for months, because of people attacking others.I limit my imput , because there are just so many that know everything.I still love this site and believe it is the best site dedicated to the 5th generation Camaro.

I think that a year ago, it was all based on "intell" and speculation. Now many of you have been to the auto shows and seen the production car and some of you have even sat in it, plus Heather and I posted picks and experiences from the CTF cars. So the mystery is gone and there is less to speculate about. Combine that with the fact that the newbies who are getting excited and joining the site now are asking and posting what looks to you guys as "old news".

I suspect when the first of you gets your car and that this site will be more than lively.

Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying this site almost every day. I just think there is now less speculation and more fact and the only left for most of you is to get your car and

I started visiting this sight about a year and a half ago and joined about 7 or 8 mo. ago. Never posted til recently when everyone was talking about 'canceling orders'.

Pretty much everything I know about this car I learned from this sight. I pretty much knew nothing about cars as far as mechanics, models, but minor general stuff. I just know what a kick ass car is when I see one and the only other time in my life, because I married so young, that I had my own car bought for ONLY me was my '73 Camaro in HS. I packed alot of living in the year and a half I had that car and fell in love with Camaro.
Hell the last time I talked to a salesman, I had to tell HIM about this car. And I learned it all from here.

So thank you all and the Father of this sight.

Now, Number3, you know I have the utmost respect for you.

But,

When you selected your smileys, I'm afraid you didn't scroll down the page nearly far enough....

Because if you had, how could you pass up on using these??
