Actually GM gets paid at the same time from the dealer whether or not the car is sold or not. Sometimes vehicles in groups get pulled out for random quality checks. This could be the case.

Yes, it does!!! I didn't pay over but mine was still built before this one! I did a search through GM today and found 3 sitting at dealers right now.within 150 miles of me... WTF?!?!?!?!
