Wether or not I can sit in it or not, I am going to see one! Going to the track in Daytona to see the pace car, and probably going to the show in Jacksonville. It would be nice to sit in it, but to see it in person is what I need. lol

lol by the time they get in to this area the cars will be not only out of the dealerships But in the auto shows. lol you guys on the east coast count yourself lucky that you can get close to one of the REAL Camaros.

I'm going to try to get to the show in Denver April 1-5. Hopefully with it being weeks after production starts there will for sure be one that we can sit in. For those of you that have been to shows. Are the Camaros usually there all the dates in the show range. Or do they sometimes show up later in the show, or leave early from it?

I've never been more hyped for the Chicago Auto show since seeing the concept Camaro last year!!!

Oh man, this week can't go fast enough! Too bad I think I read you'll be gone before I get out there Fbodfather, it would have been a real honor to have met you and to thank you and your team non-stop for bring this incredible Camaro to the show and soon to my drive way!

Sweet!!! I work downtown Chicago and will be taking a half day off with a couple coworkers during the week to check out the Camaro and hopefully avoid the crazy large crowds.

YESSSS! I live about two hours away from Chicago and was debating on going to the show or just holding off till the Milwaukee show which is only an hour away but now I am definitely going knowing I will be able to sit in an SS!!! There is now way I am taking the chance of skipping the Chicago show and waiting for Milwaukee in case I can't sit in one there. Thanks for sharing that info Scott!!!

I think the ability to witness one "in person" should be worth the trip.

You should be. It could have just as easily been cancelled and swept away, just as if it never existed.

I was disappointed to not be able to sit in a Camaro but definitely not disappointed overall. It was my first opportnity to see the 5th Gen and I took it. In person the Camaro was everything I had envisioned even if it wasn't under sunlight.

It was also great to see all of the Chevy product line and what's coming from GM overall. It was a lot of information in one place and made me feel even better about the future of GM.

Scott Treadwell was great to chat with even though I couldn't talk him out of his desk lamp made out of dip sticks and ZR1 parts

We also discussed GMPP and plans for mods to the Camaro.

I also scratched itches for the CTS-V and the G8 GXP (but the Camaro is still king in terms of value for the money)

That said - we live 3.8 miles (as the crow flies) from the Washington Convention Center and we took mass transit so it was a no brainer for me.

Well, I'm glad at least one will be there to sit in, hopefully it is the one we've seen with the working ambient lighting..(silver with orange interior) but I guess any interior would be nice to sit in.. Thanks Scott..
