I think everyone has their Nerve-O-Meters about ready to peg waiting on other information. Let's not pick on the people who could be helping answer some questions we have. And did you ever think that maybe Robin doesn't know if it's made by Borla or maybe they are gauging interest.
Are you kidding me whatever man. The OP asked a simple question and Robin came back with a untasteful reply. Um hello if she works for GMPP maybe she should know who makes the catback exhaust. I mean I would want to know if I was working for GMPP pretty pathetic if I was working for GMPP and I didn't know were my products came from.

The GMPP catback on the LS7 Camaro looks fantastic! The larger than stock diameter tailpipes look absolutely sweet and I really like the smaller mufflers. Being able to see the large mufflers from the rear of the car like the stock set up is a pet peeve of mine. Hopefully the smaller GMPP mufflers will be completely hidden from view, but it's hard for me to tell because i haven't seen a good picture on the LS7 to determine this.

If they sound as good as they look, I will without a doubt order the GMPP exhaust. Knowing that they are Borla made doesn't hurt matters either

BTW, I think you guys are completely taking Robin's comments out of context, especially with the fact that he works for GMPP.

I believe it was intended as an honest, innocent question to gauge whether or not a specific brand of exhaust matters to a prospective customer.

THEIR AN IDIOT... what ignorant sh*t to say to someone who actually has a legit question.. i dont care if shes the vp of gm... stupid ass response, especially by someone in her position.

Robin is a male, and he's one of only a handful of people that COULD anwer your question, but he had a good question himself....Does it matter? Why?

If it sounds good and makes good performance numbers...Why does it matter who made it? Guess who made the rear diff..

P.S. He's not a prick, he's a very nice guy. BUT...good luck getting your question answered now.

hmmmm sounds like everyone one is a little on edge and ready to explode. I think the mood will really start to lighten once the Camaros start being delivered to us.

I could see why someone would want to know the brand of the catback exhaust....some people are partial to certain brands due to their past experiences with them.

Who made the wiring harness for the car?
Who made the glass?
Who made the seats?
Who made the trans?
Who made the rear diff?

They were made by various vendors under contract with GM, using GM's specifications.

IF JOEBOB inc. made the cat-back, and I purchase aftermarket JOEBOB cat-backs for a 2010 Camaro, they're likely not the same system.

Did you know that tire makers spec.'s for automakers is considerably higher than the same tire for aftermarket? In other words, you go buy Michelin Pilots from Walmart, they're not exactly the same tire that came from the factory on your vehicle.

Robin's answer didn't come across as crass or demeaning, he just asked a question in response, and got nothing but disrespect.

Let the op answer his question.

Robin has been GREAT for giving us information in the past, read his previous posts. If he decides not to say, I'm cool with that. He must have his reasons.

New twist to the question: My dealer told me it was the same catback exhaust available on the Vette. With remote key fob activation. Is this true?

Ir matters because some people like the Borla sound. Some people like the Borla reputation for making HP. Some people might not be comforatable with paying $850 from a lesser known company such as Petes Discount Muffler Company. It matters because a lot of buyers want to order these to be installed on their new car before delivery. Before the magazines do comparisons so that the car and options, factory and dealer installed will be concidered factory.
