It will be an impala color, and I'm THINKING they are eliminating the stealth gray currently used on the impala, so it can be used on both cars.. I wouldn't be concerned yet.

yea the impalas are gonna be in cyber grey metallic now if you go to chevrolets build and price it has cyber grey metallic

So it's "awaiting validation" which to me means that it should be good to go. Basically the situation is that they're building Impalas in a different gray color. Closer to production start, or on production start, they'll swap the paint buckets so the robots can spray CGM. So barring something ridiculous, CGM should be available on car 001 (if that's what Mr. Hendrick wants). This isn't something complicated (like ABL apparently is).

I think the v6's will be under constraint and not available for order at first because all of the v6's being built will be sent as floor models to all of the dealers and not built for customer orders.

I have been to the dealership maybe 5 times in the last month and never saw another customer come it.. more people would see our car out running around town and stopping for gas and at stores than will ever see it in the showroom...

It's very possible, Your dealer cannot tell GM which cars to build and when, all they can do is submit the orders in the order that the customers make them. GM then schedules the production, based on constraints and such, which means even though you were the first to order at your dealership you may not be to first to get a car there, you could be 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.. When I got my first Sky a similar situation happened, even though I was 3rd on the list my car was the first to come in, Just because of what I ordered and what they built....
