Which options do I need to get? There are options for injector length, Lower O ring, and connectors.

I have an L99 with Magnuson TVS2300. The car will be getting a cam next week.

Thanks again.
Your welcome, Just go to my site and order ID-850's they are direct drop in for a Maggie.

Have your tuner email me and I will send him over the data for the injectors.

Ted.

They said they have great success with this method and will save me some money. Should I be rethinking this strategy and go with the ID-850 injectors instead. My car will be around 550 rwhp (L99) when the cam goes in.

If I should get the ID-850 injectors, what specs should I get? I see they have several options to chose from when ordering.

Thanks.
Drilled injectors are snake oil. Yes, they flow more, but the voltage offset and short pulse adder data will change... which the drilling companies will claim doesn't change.

Injector Dynamics is the way to go. The control over fueling at low load scenarios is unbelievable. The ID1000s have no problem idling with a 0.7ms pulse width.

The ID-850's are the only drop in for the Very short stock injectors.

The ID-725s would be a good choice but they will require Fuel rail spacers as they are Longer 48mm oring to oring

Pretty much. The ID850s for an L99/LS3 application end up a few dollars cheaper, too. They also won't have any trouble with idling fueling, so there's no need to try and run the smaller injector.

Tell me about it.

To the rest of the community, don't let the price of IDs scare you away. You get what you pay for. As a tuner, I grow REALLY tired of people buying whatever random injectors they find because they got a good deal... only to come back later and bitch when the car has drivability concerns, even on mild setups. Your tuner will thank you, and so will your car, especially when you get even, accurate fueling all the time. When you're spending enough money to warrant injectors that large... spend the extra $500 and get injectors that will handle the task at hand.

Good technical info. We have been using Injector Dynamic's pieces for a few years now and are a stocking distributor for most of their products....tossing a set in a 2010SS this week actually

There is a lot of information, of poor information on the internet about some of these injectors being unmodified Bosch unit's or cut/modded Bosch unit's. Plain and simple, Injector Dynamic's not only modifies these different than others and is the only company capable of providing the necessary data to tune these properly. There are other injector companies or clinics who claim to sell the same thing a lot cheaper but fail to provide the support for their product.

The data of the injector is almost as important, if not more important, than the operation of the injector themselves. As it was mentioned earlier, because we can control injector dead times and have the data there is no real reason to run the smaller injector and a spacer. The 850's will be PERFECT

Does anyone know what the 65lb injectors Vortech supplies with their kits are? They require an adapter wire to work with the GM wire harness-wasn't to impressed with that. Do these 850's require the adapter wire?

The id850 is the same as a stock ls3 injector. It drops right in.

Yes.

As Sam88gta1 mentioned, the ID850 is an exact replacement for LS3 injectors. No rail spacers, no wiring adapters, nothing. They are good to go.
