More cylinders = more power = more fun.

But if your v6 satisfies you, no worries man. It's your ride, don't worry about what other say.

Butnin the end, an SS would make you happier...

You own a Camaro and that is all that matters, all the Camaros I have owned all have been V8's, but I have nothing against the V6.

I'm loving mine and don't care what anyone else thinks. You should feel the same way. 312hp is plenty for public streets and top speed in the 150 club will kill you good enough.

I love my baby, it runs very good. And I look good in it.

Don't worry what anyone else thinks you have a great car.

I had six cylinders grwoing up and really got to know them well. When I was shopping for a camaro I was really leaning towards the sixer because of the fuel economy and really 319 hp is good enough, most of the time. But I found myself asking a question when I was about to sign the deal, 6 or 8? The V8 just made me smile and I knew that that my raw first response was go with the V8 and I could not be happier. I was really impressed with the 2LT RS but the 2SSRS just called to me.

look at most cars on the road its for sure nicer then the average car.

but in reality, if it didn't matter what engine the camaro had in it then why did they make 2 engine options? personally i didn't buy the camaro because i wanted a "camaro" i wanted a fast car. i didn't grow up in the muscle car eras back in the day. so i don't care about the mustang vs camaro thing or what ever. all i care about is whats fastest

thats MY personal feelings. but that shouldn't matter.

your car is nice and you should be very happy with it. but to answer your question " do you guys think engine size REALLY matters?" my honest answer is yes.

The best thing about the V8, besides the power obviously, is the sound. You cannot make a V6 sound like a rumbling V8, and man do I love the sound of a nice V8 ripping it down the street.

If your Dr. Ruth...size matters. LOL, jk. Most non-camaro owners will envy you and can't tell the difference from a 6 to an 8 anyways.

When I want to go fast...I get on my Honda 1000RR motorcycle sportbike. With only 4 cyclinders its one of the fastest on the street.

I love the way a boosted V6 sounds. Regardless it's YOUR car and if you're happy with it then more power to ya.

As stated earlier in this thread it's not the size that matters, it's what you do with it. My brother's Audi S4 is "only" packing a 3.0L V6, but it's supercharged and back by an amazing transmission and awd drivetrain. That car is amazingly quick.

But congrats on the purchase, you have a great car man!
