I lost mine while driving back from the beach. Only doing about 65 look back and the cover flew off and under a mini-van. It was not "snapped" in because the dealer hadn't installed the buttons yet. It's going in Thursday for strips (cyber gray rally stripes on a black car)..I will convice the salesman that it's his fault..and HE told me it would be okay until I get it back in for the stripes..ugh.

Have you looked at SUX2BU'S fix for the rub problem? I don't have my '12 vert yet, but I printed off the instructions & pictures and took them to the service manager at my dealers, he was thrilled to find a fix! I told him as soon as my vert hits the lot, he has my permission to fix the problem before it happens. As for the dealer not helping you, go over his head he is a jerk. Call the 800 number for customer help, and raise the dead! They know about the problem, and are replacing top left and right. In fact there are people on waiting lists to get new tops, that is how many they are replacing. check out some of the other forums, you are not alone. good luck!

2012 have a new (but still cheap) fix on the tonneau cover pins. instead of clips, its a elestic loop strap that fits over a bolt. works and pretty easy to use. just wondering how long the elastic will last.

Oh damn. I was hoping that they would have all the top issues resolved before the '12s came out. Oh well...guess I'll just have to deal with it...Tomorrow "Beauty" comes home!!

Well, if you had the 4th gen cover like I do you'd think this one is much better!
