Looks great Bond , how ever I wanna forwarn you that chrome paint does not hold up very well .
It works great on interior trim.
I know guys who sprayed corvette engine covers with and at best get only a few months out of it before it fades off .
I don't think the chrome can holds it luster with the heat of the engine .

Thanks for the heads up dude!
It's all good though. I didn't even use a promoter/ primer. lol
I wasn't even looking for chrome when I was at Crappy Tire, but instead was gonna pick up aluminum engine paint. I saw this at last minute and said "what the hell". See what happens. If it doesn't hold up, it'll give me an excuse to pull it and paint next winter!

Oh yeah , it sill looks good dont get me wrong .
Kinda fades to a non-polished aluminum look , which to me still looks cool .
Just my two buddys who did it , wanted the "shiny look" .

Without a doubt, the best DIY painted engine cover I have seen in two years for the LS3. BRAVO!!!

VERY good colours... and awesome application!

^^^ what he said.
However... the heat of the engine will render the chrome paint a little "less than ideal" over time. A touch up (or redo) once a year should suffice.
