Congrats. Driving a stick also gives you more control of your power.

I am going down to Becky D's dealership on Thursday to test drive the SS! Despite all the headaches my 2LT/RS has brought me, and the horrible experience with GM's Corporate Customer Service....if the SS feels right.... then I might just give GM another chance and order a 2011 2SS/RS.

I couldn't be happier to get over that nervous hurdle. Cant wait to row the gears of a LS3 !!!!
THURSDAY IS A GOOD DAY , I WILL BE WORKING ALL DAY ON THE TOP OF A 55 FLOOR ,AND JUST FEELING LUCKY TODAY !

No thank you. I have major issues with the use of the "corporate steering wheel" and the extra material insert on the dash, among other redundant changes. I prefer the original design.

it's easier to drive stick in newer cars. Not when I was learning to drive stick in a friends lancer when I was a highschool freshman, the clutch was hard and also when I test drove my friends 97 cobra, clutching feels like your fighting the car! LOL

I'm looking forward to it. I imagine with the LS3's low-end torque, it should be easier to start from first smoothly.

Only time I stalled my friend's car in the hour we were driving was when I was at a light and took my foot off the clutch, thinking I was in neutral, rather than first. Other than that, it was flawless. My buddy was even shocked at how easily I picked it up. Now I'm just kicking myself for waiting so long to take the plunge. Im 24 now... should have learned years ago

Good job... just note that the clutch will probably feel different with each car

Don't downshift and use the engine to break in the new camaro right away. You'll know how to drive stick when you have to stop on a severe incline and then resume without leaving tread behind.

One day?....... Wow...... you must be a prodigy.

It usually takes weeks of class time, months of practical, a couple years of internship and then pass the stick bar. Your midechlorian levels must be off the charts........

(All inside jokes, I hope you get it, if not, read some of the LS3, L99 stuff, it's pretty funny)

Congrats. It is a different feeling. I learned on one. When I leanred to shift an 18 wheeler I felt that new feeling all over again. So I know it feel cool to learn something different.

I agree with the one guy too,,,,, you need to at least know how to drive a stick or turn in your mancard...

Buy that SS, you'll LOVE it. You'll see. Tell Becky we said hi.....

Congratulations! It definitely makes the driving experience more fun, especially in a great car like the SS.

Excellent choice on going through Becky as a dealer. Just bought my 1SS from her and it was a great experience.

Post up some pics when you get that sweet ride man!

Becky is definitely great! If GM is fortunate enough for me to buy another vehicle, it will solely be because of Becky. She has gone above and beyond to try to help resolve the issues with my problem-plagued Camaro, and has been extremely helpful trying to help me with my SS purchase.

Becky herself was even worried about me learning stick on an LS3... out of concern for the clutch. So I'll be sure to get lots of seat-time in my friends' cars before I take delivery, to make sure I treat the LS3 with the care it deserves.
