I'm waiting on alpine's. Great info on one of the threads by Alpine, and they will be at C5FII to see in person.

I heard from my installer today that he spoke to his Alpine Rep, end of spring early summer May - June. But he is willing to install my new stereo and equipment with the Metra kit and when the Alpine comes out he will swap them for no cost.

I heard froma guy who heard from a guy who heard from some chick that some guy is releasing some hardware sometime in 2011.

Last official word was April. Nothing else is worth even listening to.

I've pre-ordered from Pacific Stereo, sent an email the other day on when they'd expect availability/shipping dates. Got an email back stating they spoke to an Alpine rep who asked them to get in touch with them on Monday for a 'more reliable date of delivery'.

So basically I take that as "soon"...

In 14 days, I'll be speaking to Alpine Rep at C5FII. We'll get some answers then, or just take the one out of the Alpine Car! Sorry, I mean "borrow".

Its my understanding the current Alpine components will fit in a Metra dash kit.
I also have Rockford Fosgate speakers (made in Arizona U.S.A.)....they rock and are a very underated audio company!
