I drove an hour and a half to Harrisburg to see a car that I couldn't sit in. I also drove another hour and a half to see the same car in Baltimore that I couldn't sit in. What's the definition of insanity? Cause I would do it all over again.

Don't sweat the heat of the moment posts. I've recently learned this. Put my foot del ing mouth. It was even worse because it was a fellow C5 member I misunderstood what he was saying big time.

I'm with bigd1276 though. I would make the drive any time. But there isn't one within 4 or five hours of me.

I also drove 2 hrs to the INDY show only to not get closer than the rope.
The day will come that I will be able to sit in mine any time I want.

I agree with the OP, I drove 2 hrs to get a good look at the camaro, and 3 hrs home in the snow. There were 2 POS pre-pro cars there that you couldn't get with in 10' of. Just another epic fail by GM. Although Ford was not much better with only 1 2010 mustang there and no 2010 gt 500. At least the mustang was not roped off.

guys were able to sit in the cars in Oregon but I think they were some of the concept cars

Looks like the next one anywhere near me is Richmond in March. That would be about a 3 hour drive one way. It's circled on my calendar.....................:bangdesk:

The one in Portland Or. was a lS and you could sit in it .... same car was in Spokane Wa. this weekend and it was roped off ..I went to bolth shows glad I made the 400 mile trip to Portland....

Now that my wife has seen and been inside the car I was able to order it

I'll simply pull all of the 'pre-production' cars out of shows - and then when someone complains that they didn't get to see a Camaro -- I'll have them call you........'k?
