called to my dealer, he checked my order and was telling me there were contraints on the LS 1LT and 2LT also the CGM paint. Looks like I will have to wait on my 2LT VRED with the Cyber Gray rallys stripes

Welcome to the site fellow Marylander! Your dealer doesn't have it right....go figure. They're building a V6 showroom car for each dealer, so for the first 4-6 weeks of production, no LS, 1LT or 2LT's will be going to us pre-order folks. They are however, at the start of production, also building SS's for pre-order buyers. As I've heard it put, one line for dealer V6's and one for our V8's.

Thanks so much for that! I was fully prepared to go cancel my order and give up on GM products for good. I thought the dealer might be using my preorder as a way to get his hands on a car that he never really intended to sell me. So perhaps he's just under/misinformed and not being intentionally deceitful. Though he still won't commit to any sort of price agreement, MSRP or otherwise, because "the prices aren't in his system yet". I just know the car's going to show up and he's going to ask for $10K over MSRP. Then when I bail he'll just sell it to the next guy who walks in the door with more money than brains. But that's how the system works now, doesn't it? Sigh...

There IS pricing, There ARE dealers here selling for MSRP with NO MARK up, and 100% refundable deposits.

You SHOULD go cancel, and deal with someone who has a clue!

I'd love to, but I don't know where to go. Where is "here"? And do the dealers have any allocations left anymore? It would be disappointing to go from #1 to #100.

You could, like my dealer did, is have them write "price no higher than sticker on car upon delivery." That should cover you if he won't agree on a set MSRP.
