475hp at the wheels, means your making a little more then the vett at the crank, not sure if its enough to take the win, but I think it would be a good one. If the vette driver is so so, I would give it to you... if knows how to REALLY handle his car, then I give it to the vette.

so unless you are pulling high 10's or his driving skills suck he will eat you alive. Dont worry about it. The Zo6 is for real. It is a true monster in every direction. I will probably have to be around 550RWHP to take 1 myself as long as the other driver is good.

If that C5 you "slaughtered" was stock, it was packing way less power than the C6 Z06, around 100hp less. Its no major accomplishment to have beaten that 2007 with the power you're making, that Z is a different animal.

Definately Not true, The C6Z is 505 at the crank which will put that car at around 450-460 at the RW, It''s almost a thousand lbs lighter than the SS, it has ALOT better aerodynamics and downforce, and suspension..
So NO you will not win, My little brother has a "STOCK" C6Z and I ran him from a roll, My buddy has a 2010 SS L99 with LS3 conversion with ported heads, big cam, convertor, tuned, making 470ish at RW and we also ran from a roll, The camaro put about 3 cars on me, The vette put about 5 on me instantly and kept pulling me...
So hands down the C6Z Wins

First I will race anything regardless of how fast it is...Lol.. But I realize where I am in the food chain. I might get lucky at the track against a ZR1 w/ stock tires, 2 out of 6 were slower than me. Not if they are stock w/ drag radials however. Also from a roll on the street look at the mph diff, I would get walked. The guy Racerns is a friend of mine and races at the same track I do, so all things being equal (same track similar conditions) he was quicker by .14 and 4.5mph.

Thanks man, I wasn't real sure about the year the body style changed. Obviously it didn't have the LS3 motor in 2007 so like I said, no major accomplishment with the power he's making.

Blah blah blah... no freakin way you're making 475 WHP with your set up. Sorry. I don't see a new cam listed in your mods so you're about 410 rwhp and 475 crank. Sorry, but it's not possible... or your dyno is WAY off calibration.

Wrong body style changed in 2005, and was on the streets in 2004. and Wrong again on the Z06 it was introduced in 2006 to present. 2008 was when the base vette got the LS3.

Also note 2005 was the only year the vette still had a 4 speed auto, 2006 it changed to 6 speed.

Whats not true, have you ever seen these guys run there C6z's at the track! I have seen zo6's run 13s ( alot) because the guy was that bad at driving! Thats no joke, I know the vette would spank the camaro but it realy depends who is driving! With both cars and simular power, a good driver in the camaro could give the vette a run for its money. Thats if the op is telling the truth about his power and I dont see a cam in his sig! Taking driving out of it... I agree the Zo6 will eat the camaro alive!
