Awd not going to help?
1.6 60 foot with street tire sound like it helps to me.

Low end torque, the STI probly will launch at 4500 and shift closer to 7000 , low end Tq not going to help the STI in a drag race..

STi has this unless the driver really messes up.

370 awhp is considerably more than 370 rwhp.

For Reference:
An Audi R8 V10 dynos numbers in the same ballpark as that WRX(less than 400).

1. In an sti you're launching @ 5k. Low end torque is unnecessary and unused.

2. Cd of sti = 0.33, Cd of camaro = 0.35-0.36 depending on model. STi has better aero.

3. 2007 sti weighs ~ 3350 lbs. 2010 camaro weighs ~ 3800 lbs

4. AWD isn't going to help? I cut 1.6 60's on street tires

Unless the sti driver screws up big time or is lying about the power, it's over. A 370awhp sti is a mid 11 second car

OP, ask him what turbo he has, like someone else said. From there we can know if he's lying about his power or not. If he really has 370whp, he's probably on a 20g or fpgreen.

We will see, AWD is not a concern in a drag race ( to me anyway)... level the field and put Drag radials on the camaro... Rear drive, sticky tire cars have no problem hooking and cutting 1.60 60fts! I been doing it for years, most AWD cars I see at the track are not very impresive...I see allot of them break or have crazy front wheel hop... but if your cutting 1.60s thats pretty damn good. IF this guy can do the same, then ya the camaro is an under dog without tires! But I would have to see it to believe it considering what I have see in the real world at the track, I bet his buddy pulls a 1.8+ and the camaro pulls him on the top end.

How is a 370whp 3800lb car going to pull a 370whp 3400lb car top end?

well i dont think reaction time will matter much. I'm sure they are going by E.T not reaction, but if so it might help.
