I'm not a good judge of these things as your market might be a high demand market. It was dead of winter and they had 3 on the lot going nowhere. I emailed the internet manager my offer of 34900 and they accepted it immediately. I probably should have started lower. If I were you, go to edmunds.com and get the real market value in your area and go from there.

Hey all I'm currently waiting for the call from the dealership to pick mine up. The wait is killing me. Ordered a new 2010 1SS/RS black on black. Didn't come with a sunroof but we got the dealer to install one for half the normal price. All together we payed 29075 for the new beast after looking at used ones with 10000 miles on them so we could snatch an SS within our price range.

Yea edmunds shows around 34k-35k. but i dont know if that gets into options on it. Seems not to bad. I sent out a mass quote request to local dealerships on what I want for monthly and options. Have to see what comes back.

Awesome CamaroCruzin. I too hope to be getting in a camaro soon too. Thats a AMAZING price as I cant find a single 2SS for less than 32K. LOL now wondering if just going with the 1SS would save me a lot of money. But I guess Ill have to keep looking for now.

5GEN yeah the dealership said it had MSRP of 35995. Even though its 2010 Im still the first owner! Theonly difference from 10 and 11 models was the HUD. No biggie I managed 27 years with out it. Good luck!!

I personally am very happy with my 1SS. And that's coming out of a fully loaded 2007 Trailblazer SS with the 3SS package....

I got my 2011 2SS Black on Black. I decided to just bring a bucket and sponge with me everywhere I go. You will be a slave to that paint.

Argh just got a call from dealer, it wont be ready till tomorrow morning. Another loooong 24 hours to try n keep my mind off it. Just hope its sunny tomorrow.

Cal that's a good idea I think I might do the same especially with all the seagulls around here. Those birds leave something wicked on your car.

I love my 1SS. love the gray and black cloth interior. it's very confortable not
hot or cold. don't need and didn't want that extra stuff. I didn't want the sun
roof because I like the roof without it. I did get the polished wheels, auto and
the B/A stereo system. Plus, there are less 1SS on the road.

So I have been doing crazy research. But I'm starting to think I might go with a used 10/11 that is 2ss/rs and the sunroof. Only thing bothers me is buying this type of car used. People make me laugh when they say that it was adult driven and never raced and never really got on it. To me that's very very hard to believe, who would buy one of these cars without getting on it time from time. Anyways I was trying to find out more info and 1 thing I was wondering is does the 2010 come with everything the 2011 has to exclude the HUD? I am kinda in the same boat as camarocruzin, I really don't care if it doesn't have it. Well just wanted to find out more info.
