I wish I didn't wait until I had 4500 miles on my Camaro before I decided to install a catch can. I went with the RX catch can (Thanks SC2150!) I think its looks awesome!

sc2150 or Jannetty...both members on here. Jannetty is a very well respected tuner as well among members here..

You can get the RX catch can from SC2150 or Jannetty Racing and a few other places.

Ok, last question is tracy the vendor from Bradenton, FL?

So from what I gather the dual valve is for S/C applications..single valve for the rest of us. Would there be no benefit in running a dual valve with my setup? I just hear some guys recently saying they are running two cans...was just curious if the dual valve relieves the necessity to ever do two cans..

Yes Tracy is SC2150 from Bradenton. Guys talking about running two cans are refering to one on the dirty side and one on the clean. I don't believe a dual valve can can be subbed as a combo dirty and clean side can. I've never seen oil in the clean side of my engine so one standard can is fine for most.

Cool, thanks for the help..looks like I will go Rx.

I notice it comes with the 3' drain tube... I am guessing many of you just drain without using the tube into a small container, as you mentioned a baby food jar...

If not I guess I can just drain directly underneath the engine bay using the hose, I do like the ease of draining and the idea of a smaller jar like you choose to do..

Correct.....I just put a little can underneath mine and drain it.

It's probably a smart idea to catch and measure the amount drained just to get an idea on how much you're catching. Just to get an idea if you're getting more or less oil over time. Not that you have to.....just a thought.

You may not have any oil from the clean side because it's a V8. I own a V6 and when I installed my CAI there was lots of oil in the clean side hose. Also, there was quite a lot of oil in the EOM air filter tube, when I took it off there was about 2 tea spoon accumulation that came out of the tube. This is why my mechanic connected the clean side on my Catch Can.

I have a second one coming in and I'll connect it on the dirty side.

SC1250 says that he sells double catch cans, and having 2 is a good idea.

Oh, I beilieve you. I had a couple drinks in me and was just being a smart-@ss. Didn't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers. I might get one eventually, probably when I get around to getting a cam.

All this catch can talk so I got one. Took off my throttle body to inspect the intake. Guess what I found after 20,000 miles? NOTHING. There was barely any oil in there. I put the can on, drove about 150 miles and one track (auto-x) event and checked it. There was maybe a drop or two of oil.
