And he was at 325hp with the 55hp jets on the dyno last week.

You can add electric exhaust cutouts. They will give you 15-20 more horsepower at the flip of a switch. Closed, the exhaust goes out your regular exhaust, but open they make your car sound like a cammed out drag car!! I am installing them on mine next week. Several members from our club have them and they are bad ass!!

400 to the wheels will be mighty tough. I don't think anyone has hit the 300 rwhp mark yet, at least not NA. Instead of putting every possible mod on our V6, I think a supercharger is the way to go (or turbos if that floats yer boat). Now if only we could get someone to make one

Sure hope someone is going to prove this out with dyno numbers, because I don't believe it will be that high. Quote:
SC1250 has one for the V6 now. Gives us a few more HP and better throttle response. Look for his threads on this subject.

N20 is really only other way at the moment to get over 400 CRANK HP....heck you can get in the upper 300 rear wheel HP with a large enough shot.
But with full bolt ons, plus some custom work (since not all of this is available without doing some of it custom)...exhaust, intake, LT headers, tune, ported throttle body, intake manifold, and heads...you could be looking at 360 to 380 crank HP. Thats pretty much an educated guess, but isn't far off. Getting to 400 would be very very difficult I'm afraid with out some other crazy internal work...if its possible. Now...400 WHEEL horsepower NA?? No way.

![]() I do think the OP was probably meaning 400 CRANK but never stated... I noticed from another thread the OP is 16... not that that really matters but I am sure he may not(or may ) be aware of the difference between CRANK and WHEEL HP and the loss through the drivetrain...

Oh, I don't know...12.01 1/4mile v6 camaro doesn't sound like a lot of cars would beat it's ass very easily. At least not stock v8's....and the price point for that v6 is WAY lower then a new v8.

Somewhat. 400rwhp out of this car without a turbo or supercharger only leaves one route and that is nitrous. What is the hp predictor say for a 12.01 run in the quarter with our weight? My car may be heavy, I guess yours is just downright obese then? I'd rather have my v6 that I paid $24.4 with taxes which I've run as fast as a 13.88 than some of your 2ss's that are cutting mid 13's.(what'd you pay for yours by the way?) I do agree with the cutouts being worthless without a power-adder, but to the owner, if it puts a smile on his face that's all that really matters. If not I'm not sure he'll be willing to ask for your permission to mod whatever he wants with his own money, but you might ask. And I do agree that you're one of those type of v8 owners. You know, most are cool, then there are the ones that feel the need to piss on the v6 guys for wanting to mod their rides in the v6 sections. Do the other v8 guys not want to play with you or what? Will the bashing never end?

By the way, I have run my 13.88 and another guy in the area ran a 13.7 in his 2SS. The sad part is if we would've lined up I would've kicked his arse. The light doesn't get greener. Go already.

Concern that OP states he does not have 6K to put power adder on but is putting his warranty out the window and engine, tranny and drivetrain repairs will be forthcoming. If my son blew up his new car doing this shit it would be his last until he went to work to buy his own. I would just stick with the cosmetic mods until he is in a position to pay to play. And if he can pay to play then have fun and learn to turn a wrench.
