Ok, forget what "ec" I'm at, my order was pulled 10 days ago. "The following Wednesday" has come and gone. Where is my TPW?

edit-> sorry, your post above beat my question...

Sorry about that. I should have said "usually" the TPW follows the following Wednesday. This is GM, remember?

Is your order in the "in system" tab or still in the "placed" tab?

Lucy

PS How come there's no quote button on your post?? (Now it's there.)
You know, I have no idea. I will surely find out though...

This snapshot is from this morning. You can see the first order (priority 1) "passed" the constraints. You can also see at the top where is shows the target week for production (TPW) is 3/23-3/29. You can also see the constraints that are for this week and the orders that would not get built if there were allocation for them.

This is informational only but feel free to PM me with questions if you'd like.

Question 1: This is your "internal" screen, right? It's not OrderWORKBENCH.

Question 2: What does "pass" really mean? Why doesn't P2, P4 etc show pass? The constraints don't hold them up either.

Q1. hhmmm.... i ain't saying nothing ..

Q2. it will only show "PASS" on the other orders if the dealer had more than one allocation for that week.

example: Pass 1
The first pass of the Vehicle Order Selection process, which attempts to place dealers' preliminary orders based on the dealer's final allocation quantity and distributed constraints quantities. Pass 1 attempts to fulfill each dealer's preliminary orders up to the lesser of the dealer's final allocation or desired allocation quantity for the TPP within the dealers' allocation and allocated constraints.

NOTE: Pass 1 looks at ONLY the quantity of preliminary orders that equals the lower of a dealer's allocation quantity and desired quantity. When that quantity is reached, this pass stops for that dealer and allocation group.

As the Fonz says "correctimundo!".

Yes, that is in Order Workbench.

I blanked all of the order numbers out for obvious reasons.

If we had 3 allocations, the first thre would say pass if they passed constraints. Let's say number 2 didn't, and I didn't change it. If I don't make number 4 take the number 3 spot, I may lose that allocation if another dealer asked for additional quantity and had a buildable order.

I assume that the Priority number/listing is entered at the dealer's discretion?

The priority is assigned by the dealer and can be modified at their discretion. However, the priority should coincide to the sold orders and the dates the deposits were taken. If they do not, the dealer may not be doing the right thing by their customers and should have no problem showing a customer exactly where he is in line.

Thank you very much for this thread and the screen shots. I'll be going to my dealer later today and asking to see the "Pass one" screen on their system to see where I really am.

Is that "Allocation Qty" how many the got for the production for that "Production Period"?

Do they have different Pass One screens for different Periods?? Like say 3/16-3/22?
