I would be interested in what ppl have to say about both? Texas Speed VVT-3 versus Mast VVT cams..?

Not much of a mechanic Bro. I stick to simple bolt ons and oil changes. So I'm in the same boat..a cam would be great but I have no hook up with smog and kind of want to leave internals alone for now. I think I may go with headers and a few bolt ons and a used charger if I can find one..

I'll suggest MTI Stage 2 cam (seen some good reviews on it) and some headers. then tune.. you should still have plenty of cash to play with too

The camaro is not a light car. Best thing to do is put a supercharger on it. It will definitely feel a lot lighter with all the extra torque a charger can provide. L99 could use a converter. Manual could use some gears.
