If you do paint them, be prepared that it might not take. I did my V6 brakes very diligently with high-temp paint. I cleaned them, applied two coats of base, three coats of top coat, and it still ended up flaking on me.

I've heard G2 works well.

IMO, this is something you want to just do once and be done with it. So what I ended up doing when I got the Brembos was to send them out to Mike the Powdercoater and have them powdercoated. They look awesome and it's a lot more durable than paint.

It's about $300.

Well if that's not rice, I don't know what is. See if they can throw in some SS badges too.

If you have a V6 and want your brakes to look better, buy new brakes. That's what I did.
The original question was this...

I just answered it!!! by the way the look really good and you cant tell its a cover unless you look from under the car. My friend has them on his Avalanche and he has 26's on it!! (BIG wheels opening) if you pay close attention then yes for ppl that know you can tell its a cover but the ones that dont can easily be fooled and on the fwy while the car is moving the look expensive !!! LOL Like i said above i used the G2 paint and it works great. Its an epoxy not your regular paint. You use a brush to apply it. It cost around $40 and it come with everything you need to do your calipers. (just Google it) The decals can be found on ebay for around $10 and i used hi-temp clear to seal the decal onto the caliper. G2 guarantees their product from chipping or flaking!!

Its not hard to install them. All you do is jack your car up, take off the wheels, clean your calipers to get rid of brake dust, brake fluid, dirt, ect... so that the adhesive can stick to it and just stick the cover over the caliper. Let it dry and poof!!! your done. Then you can look about a couple of grand more expensive for $150 or whatever they cost and just some of your time.

Some might think the MGP caliper covers are cheap but I love mine, and I think they look good on the V6. With my d/s roters they look great IMO. In all honesty "cheap" would be putting plastic covers on, and after realizing you have Brembos why put covers on? Just have them painted. If I didn't have covers and upgraded rotors I would have just bought the Brembos from SLP and had them painted.
