This is the MBRP exhaust like the one I run in my car. Here is a picture (courtesy of planet LSX) of a 2010+ LS3 Camaro with a good example of what an X-Pipe looks like.

What a great response guys! Thanks for all your input. Well I had a long day in the shop on Saturday and couldn't be happier with the results. The headers were a huge task on their own, but once they were done, the exhaust was a breeze.

I will never forget the feeling of reconncting the battery, putting the key in, crossing my fingers, and hearing her roar to life as if it was the first time she was actually able to speak with anything other than the wisper she was confined to with the factory system. What a sound! DEEP, LOUD and POWERFUL! I gotta say, there were a couple of steps in the process where I questioned the my wisdom in tackeling the install myself, but hearing that sound made it all worthwhile.

THIS is what these cars were meant to sound like.

Thanks again for the help guys.

So what did you go with? Did you cut them up?

Glad you like them!

Left em the way they came. When I took a really close look at them and looked inside of them as well, I couldn't see how they weren't or couldn't be considered some sort of "X Pipe". No reason to chop this exhaust up in any way IMHO....

Unfortunately I was a bit pressed for time and my friend that was there to help would have become even more impatient if I kept stopping to take pictures. I will definitely be posting some videos of the car once I get the cold air intake on. I'll be posting it on my build thread:
