THATS ME!

That was me that Steve was talking about. I'll be heading up to The Great White North on June 6th and 7th. Gotta say, I'm pretty stoked even though it's a 500+ mile drive. I've wanted a solo exhaust since before anyone even knew if the old style would fit on the convertibles. Hence the reason I bought a used set in January. Which, by the way, I have for sale in the bolt on classifieds if anyone is interested. I'll post once it's installed and hope to sing Solo's praises.

Sorry guys, just got power back today. Tornado wiped out my yard and pool. What a mess!
Anyway, I went with the solo Mach cat back system. It needed some tweaks to the hangers but fits and sounds great.

So sorry to hear about your back yard and pool! This weather has been crazy. We had tornado watches and hail watches on Long Island from the same storm that hit you. I am glad your house was OK, and better you and your family are OK as well.

Great to hear about the exhaust...enjoy it and welcome to the SOLO family!

Testing has gone very well and we plan on having the kits completed today and all jigged up...The convertible community will be very happy with what we will be offering

I'm ready to pull the trigger. Would the cat back be a pretty straight forward install or would you suggest a shop. Vert 2SS L99 Silver Ice, first mod.

Thanks

Go Cat Back you won't regret it ! I have had it on my coupe and now my vert
Installed the coupe myself and had the vert installed by muffler man (solo) in Buffalo, due to slight mods to accommodate the vert braces.

Got any SOUND clips on the vert yet? I've been waiting forever and my fingers hovering over the "buy" button for a Borla... would like to hear something that could help sway my decision!

ASAP please!!!!

The sound clips don't help. Everyone will be different. I can tell you you won't be sorry with the solo system on a V8 ! I know both V8's and V6's all sound slightly different. Thats the best part about the solo system, the j-pipes allow tuning where the other don't. Not to slight the system you are looking at for sound but the solo system will also allow you a weight saving by not having resonators in the back.

No sound clips yet, as we just finished designing it today...I will tell you that it sounds FANTASTIC. It is deep and mean, but never intrusive on either the outside or inside. Cruising is only a touch louder than stock...but not much at all and NO DRONE. WOT is simply nasty and yet still never intrusive. We could not have asked for testing to go any better. Expect both kits to be released by the end of June.
