Need new replacement front bumper

Honestly, and I admit this is coming from the vantage point of 25,000+ miles later instead of 800, he may have a point - I did the same to my front fascia a few months ago and although I was pretty mad at myself for a while, I really only ever see that portion of the car when I change the oil.

You'd save yourself a ton of money if you just sand out the scratches and paint the damaged portion. Could even do it yourself. I'm not trying to minimize how this sucks for you but having had this car for a lot longer, heck, I WISH that part of the car got all the scratches!

And yes, don't let him drive it ever again.

Tell me your friend is going to pay for the damages. He damaged the car, it's his responsibility to fix it.

From gmpartsdirect the cover is 426 msrp and they have it for 262. Doesn't seem to bad. Don't know how much it would cost to be painted. A few hours worth of moving the lights and grill over to the new one from the old one and you are set. Might be the way to go if you are paying out of pocket.

You should goto that site and pick out one of the parts and click view illustration and that will show you all the parts.
