One dude i work with calls it a mustang.

I am like look dude it is a Camaro. He said girls shouldnt drive Camaros. JERK! needless to say i hate him.

Someone asked me what kind of car it was. I told him a Camaro. He asked me if it had a lot of horsepower. I said yes. He asked we which model it was. I told him the SS. He then says, "Oh, so you didn't go for the GT huh?"

Not the most gallant guy around, I suppose. Or the brightest... what does he drive? It'd be perfect if he drives a minivan and you drive a Camaro, just to completely reverse the gender stereotypes (and make him more mad/jealous).

The only thing anyone has ever said mine looks like is a Mustang. Let's face it if you're not into cars enough to tell bowtie from horse but you can tell what a "sports" car (in my experience, to the unwashed everything from a pony/muscle car to a roadster to a supercar ends up being a "sports car") is, those two are pretty close. Not everyone is as into it as we are.
