dealership did mine for $175 ish. go to gmpartdirect.com and find all the parts and part numbers and the dealership will match those prices. THat alone saved me around $35 just in parts

I like the factory remote start. The only thing that kills it for me is that its not 2way. I never know if my car actually starts or if my alarm goes off, unless I start it with my phone app. I'm thinking about going ahead and slapping a viper in there. Vibration sensors are better, I can add a digital tilt sensor to help guard some1 jacking my wheels, and a motion sensor to keep people from looking inside the car for audio products.

I just priced a Viper for mine with remote start, they wanted $500 for it and installation, I said no thanks.

I did car audio and alarms for over 6 years at a professional shop, so it doesnt cost me nearly as much. I still do it part time now on my days, i'm a cop full time. $500 for a full 2way Viper isnt that bad of a price really, depending what model it was.
