2 weeks till our babies are born. Needless to say I am stoked!

Yeah...just waiting a few more days until I start buying accessories...Car cover, floor mats, license plate frame. I was at a dealer yesterday and saw a 2011 convertible with a chrome look grill that is giving me ideas!

Already ordered the splash guards. They will be installed before delivery. Order a jacfab license plate bracket. Car cover is ordered up. And I am checking into places to paint my Diamond Pearl Rally stripes on. Too much to do, and so little summer left. Ugh!!

Wish I could say so little summer...97 degrees today and likely won't see "top down" weather until October. Although when the car comes in I'll make an exception and will blast the AC! Getting anxious for movement. It seems like once 2011 production ended so did all the updates. I've been at 3300 since 6/29.

We have been at 3300 on 6/29 also. Our 2011 Corvette had the following event codes: 4/30/11 --- 3300
5/11 --- 3400
5/24 --- 3800 vehicle produced
5/26 --- 4000 vehicle ready to ship.

Following that time line a 6/29 3300 would put production on 7/29 with a ready to ship the first week of August. My guess is in Florida on the third week of August,or if delievry was like a year ago,October.

3300 on 6/29 also. TPW is 7/25. Dealer said VIN# by August 1st with a delivery in either the 2nd or 3rd week of August here in Minneapolis. He said most likely the 2nd week. Doesn't matter to me as long as I get my car and can enjoy it a bit before the snow flies.

I'm really hoping for delivery by Labor Day weekend as I just changed my plans to to to Tail of the Dragon in NC/TN that week instead of October due to prices (damn leaf peepers!). Our new "baby" has to earn her dragon decal!
