Thanks! I love seeing this kind of pics, other than the fact that they make me pull my hair, lose sleep, not able to focus on anything but this site, and I am absolutely useless to my friends and family until I get this car for myself. Thanks! lol

i know we have been told these are not dealer cars,, but i really dont think that could be true,,, i know several times we have gotten new cars with incorrect or blank window stickers and the new window stickers were with the paper work and we put them on the windows at the dealer during the PDI

lets just say there are 300 cars and just to make things easy lets say it cost only $20,000 to build each of them,, that is $6,000,000 that gm is throwing away

How many times do I have to type it in how many different threads?

Those are not all CTF cars. They are actual cars that will be going to dealers.

From fbodfather:

No -- these will not go to dealers -- at least initially -- they will be used as CTF cars for select drivers and engineers around the U.S. and Canada......

Some will be used for displays - -some will be used for training sessions (product training--)

Most will be returned to Detroit -- gone over with a fine tooth comb -- retrofitted with the latest and greatest 'stuff' -- and then sent to the GM Auction where dealers may bid on them as "used Divisional company vehicles"....so many of them will reach happy owners.

Others may be used for testing at Milford when they return to Detroit -- and some may be used for 'other' purposes....

Somebody's right or somebody's wrong but it can't be both.

someone needs to figure out the actuall vin# order,, as fbodfather said these built cars will eventually be at auction and dealers can bid on them,,,

someone could have a car worth more than rick hendricks if you could find the vins of these pre production cars that make it back to the public

personally i think rick is gettin screwed even if is vin says 100001 or 000001

The second paragraph of the window sticker says "THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR SALE". That would not say that going to a dealership.

I posted this thought on another thread but let me run it up the ol flag pole here too. Ok the sticker says not for sale. No question about that. Scott S. says they a CTF cars for shows, marketing, testing, executives etc. and after being rechecked and refitted if needed sold at auction to dealers. Ok every dealer is getting a V6 by May 6th and rumor has it that they are to keep them, not sell them and use them to kick off the celebration on the 6th. How many dealers would not sell the car if someone came in and was willing to overpay for the car. I would suggest that GM has come up with a fantastic efficient way to market and sell these new Camaro's. Send the dealers a car that they can not sell. Put it on the showroom floor and take orders and only produce what is sold. This would not only improve profits but it would also minimize capitol investment in unsold stock. After a while perhaps six months or so ship the cars back and have them certified and put them back out for sale. Come on guys these cars are coming out of the factory they are not being shipped up to Canada to park them in rows in the parking lot. These are real production cars. They are not for sale. But I would bet a tank of gas that they end up on showroom floors before the sixth for the big celebration. OK thats my thoughts, what do you all think about that idea.
