Scott, this Camaro means to me more than a car, but a portal to make friends from far and away. It is amazing to see how a single vehicle like a Camaro can bring everyone so close. Everyone on this forum forum have been great, and the people to take the time to help other people on the forum is seriously amazing. I am just astonished to see how this car will bring happiness to so many people. I really hope those who receive their car enjoy their car and all I can say to Team Camaro and GM....... Thank you for Bringing Back Camaro, the True American Icon.

Oh BTW: It's been real fun to see the Camaro develop to what it really is today.

You are one hell of a story teller. I myself am not one of the hardcore, the long loyalist, the crazed Camaro enthusiast, but I'm getting there. I'm sure this vehicle will stay with me for a very long time and I've never anticipated anything so much in my life. I've gotten caught up in all this madness that's been stirred up only to later find out it's you that has the method. Thank you. Sincerely, I will hold all you've done near and dear to my heart. The Camaro to me is a life long passion. Every single one of my four Brothers had Camaros. I bought my first one in 1994 when I was 18. A Red Z28 from Larry H. Miller Chevrolet in Salt Lake City. Five years later my first Daughter was born, I had to sell it to get a safer mode of transportation for her. I've waited ten years for this day and hopefully I get the call from my Dealer soon to let me know that my 2SS/RS has arrived. Ten years I've waited for this. It means so much to me because I gave up my first one for my Daughter and now ten years later I'm getting another one. Ten years Man. It's finally here. I can't wait to go pick it up with my little girl (who's now 10). On the plates I'm putting "4HANNAH". It's always been for her. Everything.

Not necessarily teary eyed, but he mentions "VIN number 100001 ‘roared’ to life at Oshawa, Ontario", it almost seems as if it's the first cry of your newborn child (which I know it is what he was trying to imply ). This is a great day, my family has had several Camaros in the past and as soon as I get mine delivered, I will continue the tradition. All hail CAMARO!!!

Awesome writeup. If I ever hear anyone say that GM employees don't have passion for what they're doing I'm going to point them to this thread.

If our previous attempts at understanding the Camaro VIN are correct then the full VIN for #1 should be... 2G1FK1WE0A9100001
