Well seeing as you don't like yellow I can't help you. We clearly have different thoughts about colors.

I ultimately went with the color I was picturing for the past 2 and a half years.

LOL well I'm not married, I'm only 18.

I'm trying to choose by process of elimination.

So far, I've eliminated Rally Yellow, IBM, Summit White, and RJT.

Leaving me with Black, CGM, SIM, IOM, Victory Red, and ABM.

For me my 3 choices was either A) yellow with black rally stripes B) white with blue rally stripes or C) blue with white rally stripes. I want a color that doesn't show dirt easily and doesn't require weekly maintenance to keep looking clean so that knocked out blue. All of my previous cars but one have been white and there are currently 4 other white '97 Z28's that look identical to mine where I live so I also want a color that if someone sees it in town they will know it's mine so I went with yellow. It's a color that hides dirt very well and it's a color not many people like so chances of someone else here in town having another one is quite slim.

My favorite colors have always been black, dark blue and red. My last three cars were black, blue-black, and Navy Blue Metallic, so it was time for red. Also, nostalgia (see sig).

I recommend going to your dealer and looking at the colors on color chips and on other cars. I was torn between VR and RJT, but when I saw them on other cars, the RJT was darker than I thought it would be and the VR didn't have the orange cast I see in some photos (which was why I was originally leaning toward RJT).

I asked my wife what color she wanted...
Hey, It's a Camaro that is the most important decision and I made that

Same here. My #1 choice was blue with white stripes. When the released the colors, I didn't like any of the blues, so I changed to black. After seeing pics of the actual paint jobs, I personally find Imperial Blue to be too dark. Couple that with the fact that I often see a hint of purple when I see dark blue cars driving around, and I just don't like it. But after seeing the pics of Aqua blue, that was immediately my new choice... it looks so much better than it did on the original website! Also, I didn't like the extreme orange-peel on the white rally stripes. Then, after looking at my paint samples (and seeing how the Cyber Grey stripes had the metallic look to them), I decided on Silver Ice rally stripes. I think the metallic in both colors will look amazing together

So uhh... yeah, that's how I decided. The end.

I wanted blue also, IBM way to dark so ABM was an easy choice, until I had seen it in person. It has those green highlights at certain angles so now I'm not sure. I'll probably still get ABM but wont know until I submit an order. Every time I see the white with some orange stripes I second guess myself.

My vote is for Victory Red. I consider red with white stripes to be a traditional Camaro color and I wished it was a little more popular on the 5th Generation.

For me, I settled on black for a bunch of reasons.

One, I would've chosen IOM but I can't get over the fact that it's just too red. People say its more orange in person but orange can look orange in pictures. If IOM looked like this, I'd have been on it:

As an aside, that is a beautiful '72.

SIM struck me as nice color, but there are lots of silver cars out on the road. Just didn't want to blend in.

CGM was up there too but I didn't see it as a traditional color, given the car's retro appearance. I may yet revert to CGM with silver stripes.

I liked ABM for a long time, but I realized I wanted more of a pearly light blue like on the GT500: I thought there was a lot of teal in ABM. Plus I thought I might get sick of ABM after a couple years.

I like black because it's just a mean color and because you can do a lot with it. If you want a red pinstripe, you can do that. You can get orange stripes, white stripes, red stripes, or silver stripes. You can get chrome, polished, gunmetal or black wheels or put an accent on the wheels. You can leave the spoiler a matte black or even paint the roof and A/C pillars matte black and have a sort of fake vinyl top thing. Plus I'll be living in CA where it doesn't rain, so keeping it clean won't be a hassle. Lastly I always liked Dale Earnhardt as a kid, and driving a black Chevy is sort of like my homage to him.

Color, of course, is a personal preference. Look through all the threads with pictures - some of them are very good quality. Go to the website and build your car using different colors. If all else fails, you can choose a neutral color and then custom paint it later on.

I chose IBM because blue is my favorite color. I like the darkness of it, without it being black. Another way to help you choose is to look in your closet. What colors do you usually wear? Those would most likely be the colors you're comfortable with. Good luck.

I also had trouble picking a color and may still change my mind when the time comes. The way I decided was to ask myself, "if you had to choose right NOW, what color does your gut tell you to get?"

I had been thinking yellow all along but kept second guessing. But when push came to shove and the time came, my gut said yellow. So that's what I chose.

I was stuck between yellow and silver.

Ultimately I felt Yellow was more of a feminine color, and I didn't want to hear the term "bumblebee" or "transformers" every time I talked to someone about my car. With that said, I still LOVE the yellow but definitely with BLACK rally stripes to "Man" it up a bit.

I went with Silver as my choice for two reasons:

1) I think it IS by far the most beautiful color for THIS car body.
2) My first muscle car was a 1970 Pontiac LeMans - Silver with Black Vinyl top (hard) and I wanted something that reminded me of my first love
