Im just gonna get the headers. So it will have exhaust,lid,headers,tune.

power to weight ratio...means we can keep up with the new SS, we weigh a lot less and the SS only puts about 50HP more to the ground. stock vs stock we have same 0-60 time, same 1/4 mile times.

4th Gens have the weight advantage while the 5th Gens have the power advantage. In stock form, it should be a driver's race. Your talking about 200+ lbs in weight differences and around 50+hp difference between the two. With your mods + tune, the power advantage is no longer there for the 5th Gen. And that's where your weight advantage comes into play and gives you the edge. Dont be surprised if the 5th Gen still beats you or is right next to you, not all these cars are the same. So you cant go with magazine/track times and expect a certain outcome, especially on the street.

Dont get it wrong though, the Ls3 is the better engine. Responds to mods alot better then the ls1 does. Its just the weight of the 5th Gen that hurts them, with mods you'll struggle to beat it if not keep up with one.
