Highly recommend the TVS2300 as well. Most proven and reliable SC on the market..

Auto or Manual?

Do you Like Lots of Low End power or a More Linear power increase which is easier on drive train parts and easier to maintain Traction.

The Vortech Centrifugal is an extremely Strong Well made and lots of room to grow system, The YSI is Happy at 600 RWHP to 1050 RWHP and IS the Most efficient Supercharger in this HP CATEGORY.

By the Way the Vortech has the Largest Air to Air Intercooler Standard in any kit available rated at 1200+ HP.

I will put my Email Custom tunes against any dyno tune in the country, having successfully tuned over 600 2010/11 Camaros alone, for all weather and elevations from all over the USA to Brazil to Alaska to Hawaii to Germany to Dubai and beyond.

I can put together a 100% complete detailed proven package, including custom tune to meet or exceed your goals, and leave room to grow.

Ted.

I guess I didn't include a horsepower number becaust I have no specific target. As I said, safety is the primary concern. Maybe I should back-up for a minute. The goal is to produce a supercharged setup on a stock motor that also has potential to create bigger power down the road when I ultimately build a motor specifically for boost.

Sig states manual.

I have always been attracted to Procharger, as I mentioned, due to the linear curve and potential for growth, as well as the cooling potential and quality of the actually blower. Plus, I don't think I'm sold on roots style with some of the IAT challenges out there, especially being from Chicago. With the crazy weather here, I think I would need your Dubai AND Alaska tune... which is why I lean more towards a local dyno tune.

I have No Problem Providing you with a Procharger.

We have the most powerful Stock Long Block cars I know of, currently 1 of them is at 800 RWHP.

I have a Procharger customer on here from Michigan Pretty much the same conditions, He is Thrilled with what I have done with his Tune, and he has been elsewhere.

Ted.

I have all the respect in the world for the Jannetty Racing group and I think the accomplishments you have made with your setups are awesome. Truly impressive work you guys have done in the FI and N/A environments with the 5th gen platform.

That being said, I am looking at this thread more for information-building purposes, not for a sales pitch. I am looking to make the informed decisions and determine my own setup piecing it together on my own and installing it on my own.

I hope I am not coming off as rude, because that is certainly not my intent. My whole love of racing starts with piecing together setups on my own, not just slapping a predetermined package on my car and calling it day.

Thanks again for your input.

If your not going to buy drag wheels and slicks then i would say i would give a hard look at the magnason and whipple. For daily driving and reliability its very hard to beat the magnason. The tq is what propells the car and the maggie will push the heavy camaro at any rpm.The repeated phrase for the maggie is it doesnt give you room to grow, well we have several maggie cars over 800rwhp and are working on one that we hope to touch 900rwhp.Once you get above 600 rwhp theres alot that you have to change for a true street car.You will need a clutch, drivetrain and fuel upgrades as well as brakes to stop it.Good luck and do your home work till you are ready then enjoy!

Yup....what he said. If you "need" more power than a TVS2300 can provide, just be ready to upgrade the engine (forged) and everything behind it. Over 750 at the wheels sounds neat as hell, but the realities (read that $'s) that go along with it are pretty sobering. You can spend as much in upgrades as you did when you bought the car. If you can see yourself doing that, go twin turbo from the get go. If not, the Maggie TVS2300, mild blower cam, and all the bolt ons is a pretty tough combo to beat. INSTANT extra power....no matter the rpm. OEM reliability. They look pretty damn good too. My Maggie blown LS3 has been thrilling me for almost 2.5 years now.
