After I had to get rid of my 69 Mustang before I went to college, I've only bought one car since then, which is my Accord. Over the years, I've considered getting a new car a couple time and I hate to say it, but I never really even considered an American car because I just assumed that Japanese cars (Honda & Toyota) were just better made and built with higher quality materials. I can't speak for American cars, but I bought my Accord brand new. It's got 177,000 miles on it and hasn't ever been in the shop for anything other than an oil change. The only minor item that has broken is the A/C knob and I fixed that with Super Glue. If the new Camaro can match that level of quality, then they have truly built an aesthetic and engineering masterpiece.
Well i challenge anyone to drive by a Toyota,Honda dealership and look in their service dept. Believe me they have cars/trucks up on the hoist getting major service done. For some reason the media seem to think they only have showrooms and NO service depts !!!

The RS package is completely worth it if your going the v6 route, with it you get the spoiler, 20 inch rims, hids, body coloured roof ditch moulding, and RS badging. It really is worth it for the 6.
The HIDs are very good quality because they are factory and are 100% legal.
I think most aftermarket HIDs are deemed illegal, i think it has to do with the set up and with the light facing to high or something, not too sure on that.
But if your dead-set on not getting the RS package, then get your car and wait, there will be some aftermarket companies hard at work and you might even be able to get headlights similar to the concept. Who knows.
The HIDs can be installed later.
As for quality, it seems that the Camaro will be on par, with its competitors, if not better.
The only thing i can suggest to you is to wait til the cars hit the dealerships, demos will be there in April, and then go back to back to dealers and compare. I think you will be surprised by the Camaro.
Also, make sure when you are comparing, that your comparing it to similarly equiped and priced vehicles. That should also surpise you. Good Luck
P.S i strongly suggest that you get the RS package just to get that hassle out of the way and be 100% satisfied from delivery.

I'm assuming you meant for this to be in another thread?

I don't have a problem paying for the HIDs and the Halos. It will be on the sticker as OE so I'm good.
