A special thanks to your grandpa for his service and condolences for your loss.

Keep the memories in you heart and he will always be there with you. Not saying it won't hurt occasionally it will. I remember the good times and have a little cry and thank God I had the time I had with them. All my grandparents are gone now. My children had the privilige of knowing 5 greatgrandparents and their lives are better for it. We need to value the time and the lessons they give us. Our elders no matter our age have alot to share from experience and we owe it to them tohonor them enough to listen and respect it. You have shown you do both.

You are remembering your grandfather and honoring his memory by sharing him with us. Thanks for that. I am grateful for the freedoms he fought to give us.

It's good to be able to share in good times and bad we may not ever meet each other but we are a community and I think it's awesome how there's a bond here without ever meeting face to face. Makes this big crazy world a little smaller and certainly alot nicer.
