not a doubter here...a fan actually...just a couple questions:
1. How did you pull off no tuning changes from baseline blower tune when adding a cam?
2. boost #s?

Sorry I'm slow getting back guys! We did make changes for the camshaft, but not until we made a dyno pull to see where she's at. Now the car is fully tuned & will be testing TSP 2" headers very shorlty here.

The main reason for this post is I wanted you guys to see what can be expected from that camshaft with no other changes.

I'd still like an answer to this when you get a chance. I don't see how it could possibly make the same power n/a and blown.

Not exactly the same, but pretty close. I will post you some dyno sheets from a engine dyno of that camshaft without boost if you don't believe me. The thing about TSP is we test different combinations all the time on both the engine & chassis dyno.

We've had a lot of customers interested in a boost friendly camshaft for adding boost down the road. As a result I tested this camshaft on a n/a engine

Keep in mind Synner the LS9 camshaft is not a ideal boost camshaft, it's just a ok factory camshaft for a brand new car. Aftermarket camshafts can be more aggressive than a factory camshaft.

I look forward to the dyno graph. I might be coerced to void my warranty in the spring.

Either way it turns out. I could sure use 700 RWHP ! I will be watching this combo test closely.

your saying the ls9 is not a great cam but guys are seeing 25-35rwhp with PD blowers. it's 211@.050 you said your cam is under 227@.050 so it's close to 227? well most cams going up 12 degrees or bigger would make 25-30rwhp more.

Caliman93230,

Why don't you guys explain what I'm doing that is fishy or doesn't make sense. I spend thousands of hours a year developing products for these cars & testing everything I can possibly get my hands on. I post a very reasonable dyno gain of 60rwhp & I'm called fishy? How about this bring your boost car down & if it doesn't make the 60rwhp before & after I'll remove it & charge you absolutely nothing.

Somebody explain what I'm doing that's fishy?!?!

94guy,

Here's where I'm coming from. It costs something like $275ish dollars for a LS9 cam that adds 30rwhp. Or you could buy a TSP grind that adds 60rwhp for $110 additional?? I don't get the purpose of your post? What are you trying to argue? Extra duration makes power? I believe if you do the math it's $9.16 per hp for a LS9 camshaft & $6.49 per hp for the TSP camshaft. People pay way way more money per hp than $6.49 everyday so I don't really get where your going with this??

Please post what your actually saying & your point with that post, I just don't really follow your point!?!?
