Deep dish rims look 'tuner' to me but everyone different.

lowering the car would probably be cheaper and more functional... Hmm...
.................

I plan on lowering just a tad. I love the Challenger but I think it sits too high. Haven't seen a 5th Gen in person so I'll have to decide when I get it.

some people are going to buy the v6 camaro for the look (attention), I guess they have a ricer mentality too.

some people like cowl hoods (not me), I guess they are rice too (unless there is some real cowl induction going on).

ok just wondering, i guess im one of the few that like wide body kits, but only wide body kits because they have some function like alot wider wheels and they give it a better stance imo. i dont much care for regular body kits or ground efx, though the gmpp one is pretty tastefull

Buy a v6 camaro because we just want attention? How about because it's a great car for the money? Owning a V8 doesnt' make you cool and remember with out v6 sales, you have no v8.

I agree with thebiz, in the V6 you get the good looks, good power and performance stats, and the kicker...good Gas Mileage; it's the jack of all trades version. That being said...I'm getting a V8...I just like the V8 Howl.

As for the body kits, as long as it's done to moderation it should be fine. If you put a huge sharkfin on the Camaro, you should be thrown into shark infested waters... Speaking of spoilers, I actually saw a Bimmer rag top with a friggin aluminum spoiler ghetto bolted to the trunk. It was one of the saddest things I've ever had the displeasure to witness.

i just dont understand what this rice bullshit is about...when i get my car im gonna do shit to it as if it were an import car out of the movie the fast and the furious...such as a body kit, maybe a custom paint job, diff hood, neons...all kinds of shit...whatever i feel looks nice on the car...im gonna get the neons underneath the car for that street glow...thats just what's in these days and it is what it is...and im not doing this shit cuz its "in" but because i like it...and that makes me a ricer??

most of the people that throw this ricer word around are either too old to appreciate whats new or its people that dont have a mind of their own and are just repeating what another person says cuz they want to fit in...im not trying to be a dick but if some 1 wants to want to hook up their car in a certain way thats their choice and shouldnt be labeled with the word "rice"...

Excuse me? I'm 19 and have mind of my own. If you ask me the ones that don't have a mind of their own, are the ones that go and watch a fast and the furious movie and think that all those cosmetic mods actually look good.
The mentallity that many young people have about cars because of these movies are nothing more than a fad. And a damn ugly one if you ask me.

But who am I to judge.............. right?

+1 Most of the people on here(minority of camaro buyers) are closed minded, get offended easily and unless its somthing that they can afford or want then its a bad thing. If we want to use stereotypes, shouldnt everybody that buys a camaro have a mullet? I for one dont like lambo doors, neons, or wide body kits. I do however like true custom stuff and know that each person likes diffrent stuff and im not gonna rag on somebody cause they like how they build thier own car. Like ive said before, I like it when people leave thier cars stock, cause it makes mine look that much better.

But on topic... Body kits CAN be done cleanly but most of the aftermarket kits dont fit very good and require a quite a bit of body work. Just because its a body kit and doesnt look just like "all the other camaros" doesnt mean its a "ricer".
