On the random question, I am getting 42mpg in the city consistently, usually in lots of traffic. On the highway I get 46mpg as long as I don't drive it faster than 60mph, any faster than that and it is similar to city. I got a hybrid just to have something different and because I got a good deal on it when gas was $2 a gallon for a short period of time. Paid $19K for it and seems to be valued about the same right now which surprised the hell out of me.

Wow, that's awesome! Maybe we should have looked at the hybrid we had fleeding thought about a Prius but then got gun shy bc we need the car to last 250-300k and not sure on battery life...
